Report being written .....
1-2May 2010 Thunderbolt NJ
Max visited Thuderbolt for the first time and although he visited the grass on the first lap he grew to love this flowing track. Practice saw his lap time dropping into the 1:39 whilst final qualifiying saw his time drop into the 1:35.
First race was the 125GP class and Max was 13th on the grid. He had a good start and managed to get into 11th place by the final lap.
Moriwaki race was started as a double grid at the rear of the 250GP class and it was great to see the little Moriwakis cutting past several of the 250 runners. Max finally finished in third place behind Nick and Stefano. No some machine work needs doing before the next round.
3-4th April 2010 Jenning GP circuit-
Max had a good outing in the first race of 2010 finishing 4th in the Moriwaki championship and 16th in the GP125 class. He ran well all weekend even though the racing was as hot as the weather!
He also was presented with a set of custom leathers from REVIT leathers and he is very gratefull to REVIT for this great suprise.
March 2010 - Max and Kevin !!
Max joined in at the Kevin Schwantz race school, had a great time and rode with a great Hero.

Race 3 Heartland Park, Kansas
What a weekend! The track was great and Max enjoyed practise taking seconds off his lap time each outing. Qualifying wasn’t the best but practise is so short Max was still learning the track.
Race day dawned bringing with it an almighty thunderstorm. After buying new slicks we then had to invest in wets. Max went out in practise and tagged on to Melissa Paris (AMA Supersport rider) for her sighting lap. He took to the wet track like a duck to water and put in some impressive times. As the race drew closer the sun came out and conditions on the track were changing rapidly. Which tyres should we go with, slicks or stick on wets? Dad and chief mechanic, Martin, wrestled with the decision and eventually decided to stick with the wets. The grid was split, six riders, three had chosen slicks and three wets. Max eager as ever, messed up his start and wheelied off the line. Thankfully he managed to keep it but set off about three seconds behind everyone else. By the end of the first lap he’d worked his way to fifth. Each lap he was getting closer and closer to fourth place, then, it happened! Lap six, the final corner Max made a move and took third place. Racing for the line third was snatched from him in a photo finish. Fantastic action. Thanks to the Dunlop guys who were willing and very able to keep switching tyres we really appreciate your talents. This weekend was very special as Harold managed to get over to watch Max. Thanks so much for all your time, support and effort, it was great to see you. Also regards to Taka from RS Taichi. I couldn’t believe we were actually meeting you after all the emails. Thanks for your advice and support, we’re already saving for the leathers!
